Step 1: Complete the game on Easy/Normal, Getting all the Collectibles and Misc Trophies. Overall, there's nothing difficult here besides Madhouse difficulty and even that isn't too bad. Tip: enemies cannot open doors in this game (besides bosses) so use that to your advantage. You will also not need weapons from the box because you'll be running past nearly every enemy anyway. If the difficulty is on easy you will have no reason to use the med packs and you gradually heal over time anyway. During your speedrun, you can combine all of the gold trophies together like I did. There's also a trophy for completing the game in under 4 hours, this is very easy to do however once you know where to go, etc. This is the bulk of the Platinum and the main thing you will be looking out for. You'll be picking up 74 on Easy/Normal and then 33 on Madhouse difficulty. The miscellaneous trophies are all self explanatory and there's nothing difficult there. Ethan travels to Louisiana in search of Mia but instead finds something much worse. You play as Ethan, who has received a suspicious email from Mia, his wife, who has been missing for 3 years. This time, the game is first person and is much more like a horror game than the previous, action based games in the series. Just drop down and get the final fuse and get back up into the same room and now open the door that was locked. The 7th installment in the Resident Evil franchise. – Now for the 3rd and final Fuse, go up the stairs that are in-front of you and enter the room, look at your left for a small door before you unlock the the door that is ahead of you that leads to the room where you grabbed the Hip Pouch. At this point first take the Lift which is on your right to go up, continue the path to find another Switch, press it and walk to your left to drop down from the ladder, here you will find the 2nd Fuse, grab it and back to where you were initially after squeezing out between the shelves. You will find a Zombie and can squeeze between the shelves. – From this fuse box, look at your left to finder a ladder, drop down and continue straight and take left. As soon as the lights go out, press the lift button on the right corner and go up to find the first fuse. – After the lights go out, take the lift on the right and it’s in the Fuse box straight in front of you. But just in case, these are the location.
Should come very naturally as you will be playing the game few times (Hardcore, Nightmare & Inferno) so by then you will already know their exact locations. This is near the end of the game where you will try to take the elevator but suddenly it shuts down and you need to find the fuses.
The other most important thing is about saving, keep having manual saves and if you die don’t choose “Continue” but rather quit to main menu and Load the game otherwise it will count the time from your last death and slowly it will add up, especially during the final boss as thats the only tricky thing about this whole playthrough.
I already made a guide on how to unlock the Infinite Rocket Launcher, so do check it out. We need to have the Infinite Rocket Launcher as it makes the game very easy, it literally kills everything with one hit (Except Nemesis). Field Combat Manual – 6400P (Easier to dodge attacks) – Iron Defense Coin x2 – 8,000P – Hip Pouch x2 – 9,600P (4 extra slots in the inventory) But to be able to do that then we need to use these in game cheats (shop): Can be found inside the item shop after you buy them Dont worry its easy, though you need to play the game many times but this whole game can be finished in about an hour so 2 hours is quite a lot. To get this trophy we first need to finish the game on Hardcore Difficulty (unlocks Nightmare Difficulty), then beat it on Nightmare Difficulty (unlocks Inferno), and finally on Inferno Difficulty and finish it within 2 hours to get the S rank.
